EVERYONE IS ESSENTIAL IN PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITY.

Interested in helping in the response to COVID-19? The Memphis Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has joined with local partners to share these resources for available volunteers and groups seeking assistance.

There is a specific need for volunteers with backgrounds in medical, healthcare, IT/data, administration, and logistics fields, but we encourage you to explore all current opportunities.

MEDICAL SETTINGS

If you are available to serve in hospitals and alternate care sites, or have medical/healthcare experience to provide, please register with the Tennessee Medical Reserve Corps at tnmrc.org.

Background checks may be required for some projects, and we are grateful for your patience as these organizations review your information. Because of size and safety limitations, not all volunteers may be assigned to a project.

COVID-19 Community Volunteer Pool

Memphis Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is currently working with Volunteer Memphis, as well as community partners, to assess our response to those most impacted by COVID-19. There is a potential, but unknown, great need for individuals and groups that fall into the “Skilled Based” volunteer category.

Thus, OEM has asked Volunteer Memphis to assist in building a database of volunteers who may or may not be called upon to serve, but who are willing to be contacted by the OEM should the need arise. Please register for the “Community Volunteer Pool” here.
